My cycling journey.
I started riding a bike as a kid, at the age of 6 I got very confident with my biking skills but later when I had a very serious injury, my father refused to buy a new cycle for me, well there were multiple reasons for not buying a cycle for me But one of the major reasons was whenever I went for a ride every time I came up with new Faults, repairs & punctures, now you know that I was so mischievous because I used to do all these reckless stunts and things on my bike so after seeing this bad discourse in my life my father decided that he will not spend a single penny on my bike.
As a kid, I thought that yes I truly deserve this because this was my third cycle so for sure they wouldn’t buy a new cycle for me,For almost one year straight I didn’t have a cycle. But a few years later my dad brought me a new cycle, I was 9 and I started to ride decently but the actual journey starts when I turned 18,
At the age of 18, I decided that I would buy a new cycle with my funds I waited for almost 5 months and saved a total of 6k rs the problem was that there were so many cycle brands in the market but the pricing was too high if not high then there were so many quality issues then I researched a lot and I found this beauty called Btwin my bike. I enjoyed riding this single-speed bike to keep my bike well-maintained I even learned the bike mechanics and later on I developed skills that helped me a lot.
Initially, I started going for long rides distances of up to 60 miles and I covered and explored most of the places in Delhi with my bike.
There was no mentor for me so I learned from my own mistakes. I was a loner!
When years went by I got a bit aggressive with my pace and then I decided to buy a roadie.
I bought RC Triban 120, This roadie changed the whole course of my biking. I went on two bikepacking tours with this bike. Memories last forever.
